Born in Fostoria, Ohio, and now living on Catawba Island. I began some oil, mural, and sign painting in my teen years. This first dabbling with painting was short lived so I could concentrate on studies.
After high school and college, I began extensive international business travel which lasted for more than 30 years of my career. This put any thoughts of painting on hold. Since those early days of painting, some 50 years passed by, until I started painting again in 2019. My interest was rekindled with my involvement in painting an outdoor Lake Erie sunset mural. This inspired me to focus on painting again in early 2020.
My work mainly focuses on paintings of portraits, Lake Erie landscapes and landmarks, plus portraits of family dogs and cats. Mediums available are water color, acrylics, oil paints, and graphite/charcoal.
